When Mia moved

When Mia moved into her grandmother’s old house, she was eager to uncover its secrets. The house was filled with relics of the past, untouched for years. One afternoon, while sorting through boxes in the attic, she stumbled upon a small, leather-bound diary, dusty and worn. The diary had her grandmother’s initials, but Mia had never heard any stories about her grandmother keeping a journal.

Flipping through the pages, she found it was filled with notes on everyday life, until the entries took a sudden, darker turn. Her grandmother had written about “someone watching her from the shadows” and “finding strange objects left outside her door.” One particular line stopped Mia in her tracks: “If you’re reading this, there’s something hidden for you in the cellar. It’s the only way you’ll understand.”

Ignoring her hesitation, Mia made her way to the cellar, heart pounding. She searched the dark, cold room and found a small box buried behind shelves. Inside was a single letter addressed to her by name, written years before she was even born. “Trust no one who lives in this house,” it read.

The note left her shocked and confused, questioning her family history and the secrets her grandmother had kept hidden. Each clue seemed to connect back to her, as if she was meant to discover it. Over the following days, Mia began noticing strange noises and flickers of movement in the house, just as her grandmother had described. She realized that maybe the warnings were meant for her, and the secrets of the past were finally unraveling in the present.
